Weaving Work Experience

Work experience opportunities are available from time to time.  Successful applicants must be able to work independently and to a high standard, being competent at designing warps, making warps, dressing different looms including table, floor and dobby looms, and weaving in a variety of techniques.  Specific techniques will be taught as necessary but applicants are expected to have good practical weaving knowledge of  structures and be able to design and weave to a design brief, or on an existing project.  Practical experience in plain and twill fabrics and double cloth is required.
